Rick has been the Territory Sales Manager at Unified Alloys for 6 years now with a large focus on the mechanical contracting industry. He graduated with Bachelor of Commerce degree from Royal Roads University in 2008 and has been involved in sales ever since.
Motivated by a desire to add value and create an impact, Rick joined the NextGen Board in 2022. He recognized the opportunity to bring people together within the industry. “My primary motive [for joining] was networking, meeting new people and connecting. Being able to share products where we give value and make a difference.”
Rick believes in ongoing education for professionals seeking to elevate their career in the trades. “I value education for personal development and growth.” As a NextGen board member, Rick is focused on bringing more awareness of the trades through NextGen offerings and networking events. “The MCA is great as it allows everyone to connect and encourage open discussions. I value meeting new people, but also make it fun.”

Rick is father to a 3-year-old girl. He enjoys hiking, biking, sports, and travelling in his spare time.
