Mechanical contractors, those affiliated with the mechanical trades, manufacturers, distributors, suppliers as well as those who provide professional services to the industry, are encouraged to join MCABC.

For Contractor and Affiliate members, membership dues are based on annual payroll volume reported to WorkSafeBC. Associates and Professionals pay a fixed annual rate, and Student memberships are free.If you are a union contractor, please contact our office to find out if the union can pay most of your membership fees.

Our membership consists of both unionized and open shop firms. In fact, both open shop and union contractors are represented on our committees and Board of Directors. MCABC believes in furthering the mechanical contracting industry for all mechanical contractors in BC.

Yes, we encourage you to include our logo on your Web site. MCABC’s logo is an endorsement of your commitment to professional excellence. If your membership ever lapses, you must remove the MCABC logo from your website.

MCABC members have several opportunities to showcase their expertise, collaborate and network with fellow industry members, including professional development sessions, the annual business conference, virtual seminars and social events. Members are also provided advertising opportunities on our Web site and through our monthly and other communications. We also encourage members to join Association committees.

MCABC provides you opportunities to network with our members at seminars and social events for member pricing.

A benefit of membership is the opportunity to post job advertisements on MCABC’s Website for free. MCABC, in turn, will also promote your jobs on our social media channels: LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. Non-Members can also post jobs. Advertising costs are available here.

Yes as long as we have the name prior to the start of the event

Registration for all events and courses is online and payment must be completed prior attendance at the event or course. Separate invoices cannot be manually processed.

We do not differentiate. MCABC’s members are union and open shop contractors. The benefits of membership are the same for all mechanical contractors and the affiliated trades.

Our core membership is mechanical contractors but you do not have to be a mechanical contractor to realize the benefits of membership. Those affiliated with the industry, as well as those who supply and provide services, appreciate the value they receive.

MCABC membership is secured by the entity. Company divisions that are separate legal entities must maintain their own membership.
