Membership Categories
Contractors
MCABC Contractor members specialize in plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sprinkler systems, fire protection, control systems, refrigeration, insulation, specialized process systems, medical gases, hydronics, site services and welding. Installations, service and retrofitting are performed in both the Industrial Commercial & Institutional (ICI) and residential sectors. Annual dues for Contractor members are calculated on a sliding scale based on the company's WorkSafeBC payroll declaration from the previous year. Included in only our Contractor and Affiliate membership levels is automatic membership with MCAC.

Affiliate
MCABC Affiliate members provide sub-contracting services to mechanical contractors, such as sheet metal, insulation, fire prevention systems and controls, or companies that install and service as part of an affiliated trade, such as electricians. Annual dues for Affiliate members are calculated on a sliding scale based on the company's WorkSafeBC payroll declaration from the previous year. Included in only our Contractor and Affiliate membership levels is automatic membership with MCAC.

Associate
MCABC Associate members comprise of suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to the mechanical contracting industry.

Professional
MCABC Professional members provide professional services to the mechanical contracting industry, including engineering, consulting, legal, accounting, recruitment, and employment benefits.

Honourary Lifetime Member
An individual who has retired from Mechanical Contracting and is recognized for making an outstanding contribution to the Association.
Student
MCABC Student members are enrolled in a mechanical-related education program, pre-apprenticeship or apprenticeship program at an accredited institution (including high school). Student memberships can be renewed for one year at no cost to facilitate entry into the mechanical contracting industry.
