Details

  • We’re golfing rain or shine.
  • Each player must have a full set of golf clubs.
  • Golf shoes or running shoes only are permitted. Soft (non-metal) spikes are recommended.
  • Presentable attire is required and applies to all golf participants and sponsors while on the premises. Unacceptable attire includes, but is not limited to, swim wear, jogging shorts, short shorts, cut off shorts, tank tops/sleeveless shirts or sweat suits.
  • Outside alcohol is not permitted on the property.

Scramble Play

  • Every team member hits a tee shot on every hole in a scramble. The order of play within a team does not matter and can be different on every shot.
  • After each team member hits their tee shot, the team picks which tee shot is the best for their specific holes situation.
  • Any player’s ball that isn’t selected can pick up their ball.
  • The team then meets at the location of the selected shot. That is the team’s “first shot,” and all team members will now play from that spot.
  • Each player must play their next shot from within one club length of where the selected shot ended up, no closer to the hole.
  • Players can mark their ball with a tee, and the team can play from within one club length of the tee.

Example:

Player A hits the better drive, so Player B picks up and goes to the Player A’s drive and hits from there. If then, Player B hits the closer iron shot to the pin, Player A would play from Player B’s position on the green until the ball is holed out. Each person on the team gets to hit from each position.

Tips for fast play: Don’t search for lost balls. Groups falling behind may be asked to pick up their ball and move to the next hole.
