Calling all MCABC Contractors, Affiliated Trades, and Associates.
Be part of something bigger. Help advance what matters most to the mechanical contracting industry in British Columbia.
The Mechanical Contractors Association of British Columbia (MCABC) is now accepting nominations for the 2026–2028 Board of Directors. The new Board will be elected at the MCABC Annual General Meeting on July 15, with positions available for both one- and two-year terms.
This is a unique opportunity to help guide the strategic direction of a 121-year-old industry association at a pivotal moment. MCABC has built strong partnerships with key stakeholders, is leading the development of innovative, industry-focused education, and is recognized as a trusted voice representing 11 of construction’s primary trades.
Our work is focused on elevating the needs, opportunities, and long-term success of the mechanical contracting industry across B.C. As the only dedicated representative for our industry, MCABC relies on its Board of Directors to provide the leadership, insight, and governance that drive our advocacy, education, and workforce development initiatives forward—today and into the future.
Board Directors Must
- be the voting member of their company
- commit to attending quarterly and special meetings, as well as governance training
- contribute their time, expertise, and leadership to advancing MCABC’s strategic priorities, including participation on committees
- be ambassadors for the Association and the industry
