Officially known as the Interprovincial Standards Red Seal Program, it is an interprovincial standard of excellence for skilled trades in Canada.  The successful completion of the Red Seal exam endorses an individual’s competency in their trade and is recognized across Canada.

If you have extensive experience in a particular trade, you can apply to challenge the Red Seal exam. The requirements for qualification vary by trade.
