COVID-19 Policy

In-person meetings, education & events

MCABC is committed to upholding the key elements of its Leadership Pillar through adherence to preventative measures and protocols that support the safety and well-being of everyone involved in the mechanical contracting industry in BC – MCABC members, association staff, industry partners, suppliers and service providers.

As a host facilitator, MCABC trusts that individuals attending its in-person meetings, education and events, are complying with the Provincial Health Officer’s (PHO’s) recommendations regarding COVID-19, including:

  • Double vaccinations;
  • Mask use;
  • Handwashing;
  • Social Distancing;
  • Stay-at-Home/Isolation orders; and
  • Other preventative measures that may change from time to time.

MCABC will, where possible, make effort to accommodate those who are unable/unwilling to comply with the PHO recommendations including through measures such as virtual attendance.

To discuss potential for alternate arrangements, please contact (confidentially): Kim Barbero, CEO, kbarbero@mcabc.org.

MCABC may make changes to this Policy as the situation regarding COVID-19 evolves. Please note that all considerations are in the best interests of its members and the mechanical contracting industry.

MCABC thanks you for your cooperation.
